Penang Durian Farmer Awarded Datukship for Black Thorn

Penang farmer Leow Cheok Kiang, creator of the renowned Black Thorn durian, was awarded a Datukship for his contributions to agriculture. He spent nearly 30 years developing the fruit, which now rivals Musang King in popularity and price, and continues to manage multiple durian farms.
