Dave Parker, Hall of Fame Outfielder and Pirates Champion, Dies
Dave Parker, Hall of Fame outfielder and 1979 World Series champion with the Pirates, died at 74. Known as the Cobra, he hit 339 home runs, was a seven-time All-Star, and won three Gold Gloves. He testified about cocaine use during his career and struggled with Parkinson’s disease.
