Wellcome Trust Funds Synthetic Human Genome Project

UK researchers, funded by Wellcome Trust, aim to create a synthetic human genome within a decade, beginning with a full synthetic chromosome, to advance understanding of genetics and medicine, while addressing ethical concerns surrounding the project.
