Network Rail ‘wrongly’ felled over 300 healthy trees

Network Rail felled over 300 healthy trees in Derbyshire, mostly unnecessarily, during bird nesting season, allegedly to prepare for electrification. Residents criticized the excessive clearing, which damaged the environment and disregarded ecological rules. The company plans to review the Tree Council’s report.
