Coventry Council Bids Farewell to Very Light Rail Trial

Coventry City Council tested the £189m Very Light Rail system, with tracks laid in city centre. The prototype was trialed successfully, and about 3,000 residents participated. The vehicle was removed, but testing continues; an 800m track will connect Coventry Railway Station to Coventry University later this year.
