California woman loses thousands to fake FTC agent scam

A 59-year-old woman was scammed out of $700,000 by fake FTC agents after receiving a threatening text about her Apple ID. She was directed to withdraw cash and was tricked into giving tens of thousands of dollars, with scammers appearing at her home.
